Craving a dessert with a bold twist? These Sriracha Brownies take rich, fudgy chocolate and infuse it with a fiery kick, creating the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Ultra-chewy, intensely chocolatey, and just the right amount of heat—each bite is an exciting flavour adventure!

Ingredients
Chocolate Base
-
⅓ cup cocoa powder
-
1 tsp instant coffee (or espresso powder)
-
1¼ cups boiling water
-
2 oz unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
-
6 oz 60% cacao dark chocolate chips
Wet Ingredients
-
½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted
-
½ cup oil
-
2 large eggs
-
2 large egg yolks
-
2 tsp vanilla extract
-
2 tbsp Red Sriracha
-
2½ cups sugar
Dry Ingredients
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, instant coffee, and boiling water until smooth
Stir in chopped unsweetened chocolate and dark chocolate chips until mostly melted.
Whisk in melted butter and vegetable oil. (Don’t panic if it looks curdled—it’ll come together.)
Add eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
Stir in sugar until fully incorporated.
Add the Sriracha! (This is where the magic happens.)
Fold in flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan, smoothing the top.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted halfway between the edge and center comes out with just a few moist crumbs
Cool in the pan on a wire rack for at least 1½ hours before cutting.
Slice, serve, and enjoy the perfect balance of rich chocolate and fiery heat! 🔥🍫
Recipe Note
If you’re using dark chocolate with more than 60% cacao, increase the sugar by up to ¼ cup to balance the bitterness. Skip the milk chocolate chips—they won’t give you the rich depth of flavour we’re after!
