Ingredients
-
1 Kg of chicken wings
-
1 tablespoon of paprika
-
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
-
1 tablespoon of onion powder
-
1 teaspoon of salt
-
1 teaspoon of pepper
-
1/2 cup of melted Ghee
-
1/4 cup of Umamipapi Chilli Oil Original
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Next, place the chicken wings in a large bowl and sprinkle the spice mixture over them, tossing well to ensure they are evenly coated.
Now, put the seasoned chicken wings on the cooler side of the grill and smoke them for approximately 1 hour, or until they are thoroughly cooked, and the internal temperature reaches 74°C
- Meanwhile, prepare the butter and hot sauce mixture by combining them in a small bowl.
- Once the wings are smoked and fully cooked, brush them with the butter and hot sauce mixture and move them to the hotter side of the grill. Grill the wings for an additional 5-10 minutes until they become crispy and develop a delicious caramelized finish.
- Finally, take the wings off the grill and serve them hot, offering your choice of dipping sauces or sides as accompaniments.
